Do different fabrics offer different protection?
- No, all fabrics are equally protective.

Choosing between Cotton and Polyester
Cotton
- absorbs moisture.
- can feel drier, but stays damp longer.
- may wrinkle and shrink (about 3%)
Polyester
- Less absorbent, dries faster.
- Doesn't shrink, more stain-resistant.
- Feels soft, not plasticky.

- Elite Edition
- zipper at the top of face mesh with dual sliders for easy partial opening.
- adjustable hood cord to fit head / neck size.

Do I need shots and pills when travelling to countries with insect-borne diseases?
- Yes, get your shots and medications. Our clothing helps, but it's not a replacement for medical precautions.
Does your clothing protect against the sun?
- Yes, solid fabrics block 98.9% of UVA/UVB rays (SPF 90.9)
- Mesh blocks less (SPF 1.9), but it’s positioned to minimize direct sun exposure.
Is the clothing light and easy to pack?
- Yes, an adult size shirt weighs about 340 grams or 12 oz. (A pair of denim jeans would weigh around 550 grams or 19.3 oz.)

- We don't offer repair services, but can send replacement mesh fabric free of charge (shipping not included)

Does it protect against bees and wasps?
- not designed for stinging insects, but beekeepers have reported success with our shirts.
- Customers have also have had success with wasps.
Will it aid in protection against insect-borne diseases?
- Our protective clothing can help reduce the risk of contracting insect borne diseases, like encephalitis, lyme disease, West Nile virus, dengue fever, malaria etc...

DUTIES AND TAXES UNITED STATES
- We ship all orders with duties and taxes prepaid whenever possible. In most cases, your parcel should arrive without any additional charges.
- However customs authorities and carriers may occasionally apply duties taxes, or brokerage fees beyond our control. These are the responsibility of the recipient.

NOTE: If you refuse delivery of a parcel due to such charges, the order will be returned to us at our expense. Any refund issued will be reduced by the return shipping fees and any costs incurred due to refusal.
We work hard to ensure your order clears customs smoothly, but please note that final decisions rest with your countries authorities.

We ship with duties and tariffs prepaid whenever possible. In most cases, your parcel will arrive without extra charges. However, if local customs or carriers apply unexpected fees and you choose to refuse delivery, the parcel will be returned to us at our expense.
