The Original: Bug Pants are the perfect complement to the Original: Bug Shirt® for those who need full body protection from mosquitoes, ticks and other biting insects.
The main focus of this design is to be light weight.
Like The Original: Bug Shirt®, our bug pants are designed to be effective. We have made sure that the critical ankle area is protected no matter what your level of activity.
The Original: Bug Pants are available in polyester microfiber in sandstone or ivy green. These pants are deliberately cut long – when held up to your waist the ankle elastic should be touching the floor! This is so that even when fully bending your knees, the lower edge of the pants will remain tucked into your shoes, and not ride up to expose your ankles to bites. Also see the Zipper Fly style.
The unique elasticated ankle and stirrup positively protect the vulnerable ankle area from biting insects.
The waist is secured with both a drawstring and elastic.
There are two pockets in the side seams.
We have simplified the design. We have kept these bug pants light by omitting the reinforced knees and cargo pockets (see The Elite Edition: Bug Pant). They are very durable – the nature of the fabric used ensures that – but the emphasis for this style is lightness. The cut is also generally more appropriate for women since they are a little fuller in the hips.

SIZE & FIT
Size Charts
Sleeve length is traditionally measured from the centre back of your neck, over the shoulder to your wrist bone, with your arm straight. This is not easy to do yourself, but you can measure a well fitting long sleeved shirt or jacket to get an idea.
Bug Pants
Both styles of the Bug Pants are available in two leg lengths: short (2″ shorter than regular) and regular. The inseam measurements given in the chart below are those of your best fitting pants, and not the actual measurements of the bug pants. The bug pants are actually cut 2 1/2″ longer than ordinary pants to ensure they stay tucked into your shoes, even when fully bending your knees. So there’s no need to order longer than you would normally; to protect you better – we’ve already taken care of that.
First establish your size based on your hip (around the fullest part) and waist (about an inch below your belly button) measurements, then determine the length you need.
The Regular Pull On style is generally more suited to women; they are a little fuller in the hips. Please check the size chart carefully for both styles before ordering.

RETURNS
Refund / Exchange Policy
If you find you need to send anything back to us, for an exchange if the size or colour is not appropriate, or for a refund if it just doesn’t work out for you, then please call us first to let us know it’s coming back.
In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way.
After we receive your item. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
If the product is damaged in any way, you will not be eligible for a refund.
